Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 'Silver Dial + Rolex Buckle' (1972)
The Rolex Oysterdate Precision we have here makes us extremely happy! We don't often buy this model at 10 over 10, but when we saw the condition, we couldn't let it pass us by. The 34 mm case is razor-sharp and in beautiful condition, making all lines and angles perfectly visible. The steel smooth bezel is also in excellent condition.
The correct silver tritium sunburst dial with serif font is still in perfect condition. When viewed from different angles, the color changes from silver to a light champagne hue. The tritium on both the hands and the dial has developed a beautiful, even beige patina over the years.
The reliable, manual-winding Rolex caliber 1225 movement of this Oysterdate 6694 has been checked and keeps time perfectly, so there was no need for a service this time. Furthermore, this beautiful vintage Rolex watch is equipped with a taupe-colored leather strap and, of course, a steel Rolex buckle. In our opinion, the Oyster Precision is the perfect, reliable watch as a first Rolex, or just to expand a collection, a perfect mix of classic and sporty!
This Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 from the year 1972 comes with a one-year mechanical warranty from 10 over 10.

Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694
The Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 was introduced in the early sixties and remained in production until the late eighties. It is one of the longest-produced manual winding models from Rolex. The name Oyster refers to the characteristic waterproof case, while Precision indicates that it is a non-chronometer certified, manual winding movement.
The addition Date in the model name refers to the practical date window at three o'clock, a feature that distinguishes the 6694 from the standard Oyster Precision models without a date indication.
During the long production period, the 6694 appeared in various configurations, including multiple dial variants, from sleek baton dials to variants with dauphine hands, and different strap options, such as the steel Oyster bracelet, the Jubilee bracelet, and leather straps. This makes the model a versatile and characterful presence within the vintage Oyster line.
