This is partly due to the 36 mm case size, which has remained unchanged compared to the current (neo-)vintage models we offer, but also because of the stunning mint green dial featured on this new Rolex Datejust. This watch is often seen with standard blue, silver, or white dials, but the mint green variant is a true eye-catcher and undoubtedly a unique configuration in today’s market.

Looking back at reference 126234, it was introduced by Rolex in 2019. Around 2022/2023, the mint green dial appeared on the market. Additionally, the Datejust 126234 is equipped with the reliable Rolex calibre 3235.

The exquisite Rolex Datejust 126234 with mint green dial that we offer here is completely new and unworn. What excites us in particular is the dial’s unique effect: when viewed from different angles, the colour shifts from light grey/green to a so-called ghost effect, where the text almost disappears, before transitioning back to a deep anthracite. The watch originates from the Netherlands, and the warranty card is stamped December 2025, fresh off the press! Naturally, this Datejust comes with the elegant and iconic Jubilee bracelet, presented in full length with all links intact.

Datejust

In the year 1945, the first Datejust was introduced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rolex under reference 4467. This was the first self-winding watch with a waterproof case that also indicated the date and automatically changed after midnight. The Datejust was equipped with a fluted bezel and the famous Jubilee bracelet that was specially designed for the Datejust. The date was displayed at the 3 o'clock position. 10 years later, in 1955, the date window was equipped with a cyclops lens that magnified the date by up to 2.5 times.

Most iconic Rolex models were produced to be used as tool watches. However, the Datejust had no specific purposes. This model was meant to be a classic, reliable, and everyday watch suitable for any occasion in daily life.
