Omega 'CK 2750 / Cal. 266 Honeycomb dial' (1954)
The Omega reference CK 2750 was produced from around 1952 and continued until approximately 1954. The watch has a 35 mm steel case and a sub-seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position. This gives the model some resemblance to the so-called Calatrava model. The Omega CK 2750 is powered by the hand-wound 266 caliber, part of Omega's well-known 30T2 series, a solid and reliable movement that was widely used by Omega during this period. The CK 2750 models were often delivered with a rare black dial or a well-known so-called 'salmon sector' dial.
What makes this CK 2750 extra special for us is the original honeycomb dial, also called a 'waffle dial' because of the texture that resembles a honeycomb or waffle. The fine texture gives the watch just that little bit extra: a warm appearance, a vintage feel, and above all, a lot of character. And you rarely see that nowadays in such a beautiful original condition. The dial is also equipped with rose gold hands and so-called rose gold Arabic numerals, a perfect combination if you ask us!
Something that naturally makes us very happy is the razor-sharp 35 mm case with its sleek, tapering lugs, which still seem unpolished. Inside ticks the hand-wound Omega 266 caliber, which has had a full service in 2023. The original Omega plexiglass has also been preserved, with the engraving of the Omega logo. We have fitted the watch with a new dark brown suede leather strap that perfectly matches the case and the warm honeycomb dial.
This beautiful vintage Omega CK 2750 with original honeycomb, or waffle dial, whichever you prefer to call it, comes with a 1-year mechanical warranty.

Omega
La Generale Watch Co., the parent company of Omega, was founded in 1848 in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds by the 23-year-old Louis Brandt, who was engaged in assembling watches. In 1866, Louis Brandt passed away, and the company was continued by his two sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar, who decided to centralize the assembly process. The brothers made enormous progress, and in 1894 they introduced a new caliber to the market: the well-known 19-ligne caliber. The caliber was so precise and successful that the brothers decided to change their company name in 1903 to "Omega Watch Co." Since 1998, Omega has been owned by the Swatch Group under the name Omega SA.
