At 10 over 10, we have a fondness for vintage watches, but sometimes we like to make an exception for models that fit perfectly into our collection. The iconic Cartier Tank Solo watch we have here is made of 18K yellow gold and was produced from 2004 to around 2019. After that, the model was succeeded by the Cartier Tank Must.

The 18K yellow gold case of this Cartier Tank Solo Large 2742 is still in good condition. The case shows some signs of use, which are certainly not considered distracting, but it appears to be completely original and unpolished. We have consciously chosen to keep the watch in its original state. The dimensions of the case are 27 mm x 35 mm, perfect for both ladies and gentlemen.

The sapphire glass has a scratch on the upper left side, which is only visible from certain angles and under specific lighting. When worn, it is hardly noticeable and is not distracting. The glass is still original as well. Furthermore, this Cartier Tank Solo features the characteristic silver-colored dial, adorned with Roman numerals and dark blue sword-shaped hands. And of course, the distinctive blue cabochon on the crown is a must. A beautiful piece that embodies all the qualities of a Cartier Tank, if you ask us!

The movement has recently undergone a minor maintenance by the renowned official Cartier retailer Wempe in Germany. The movement has been checked/tested, the battery has been replaced, the seals of the movement and crown have been renewed, and the case has been re-waterproof tested and repaired. The invoice for this will be included.
