Cartier Tank Solo 'Small' 2743 + Box & Papers (2009)
At 10 over 10, we have a fondness for vintage watches, but sometimes we like to make an exception for models that fit perfectly into our collection. The iconic Cartier Tank Solo watch that we offer here is made of 18K yellow gold and was produced from 2004 to around 2019. This model was then succeeded by the Cartier Tank Must.
The 18K yellow gold case of this Tank Solo Small is in beautiful condition and looks like new. With dimensions of 31 mm x 24 mm, the case is perfectly suitable for both ladies and gentlemen with a classic preference. The watch features a distinctive silver-colored dial, equipped with Roman numerals and dark blue, sword-shaped hands. Of course, the characteristic blue cabochon on the crown is also present. A beautiful piece that, if you ask us, embodies all the qualities of a true Cartier Tank.
The watch comes with the original box and papers. Unfortunately, older Cartier boxes are known for not being of the best quality. It is common for the inside of the box and the cushion to dry out over time and start to crack or crumble. The original box of this Cartier Tank shows some signs of aging on the inside, but has fortunately been preserved along with the original cushion.
Additionally, this Cartier Tank Solo Small ref. 2743 from 2009 is delivered on a brown leather Cartier strap, equipped with an 18K yellow gold Cartier buckle. This also makes the watch a stunning piece of jewelry. Of course, we provide this classic watch including the original Cartier box, papers, and one year warranty from 10 over 10.

Cartier Tank
The Cartier Tank watch is one of the most iconic watches in the history of haute horlogerie. The tank was first introduced in 1917 and quickly became a timeless symbol of style and elegance. To this day, the Cartier Tank remains one of the most popular and successful models from Cartier.
The story behind the Cartier Tank watch begins with Louis Cartier, the founder of Cartier. He was inspired by the tanks used during World War I. The clean lines and shapes of the tanks piqued his interest, and he decided to translate this into a watch design. In 1917, the first Cartier Tank watch was introduced. The model was distinguished by its rectangular case with rounded corners, reminiscent of the shape of a tank. The tank featured a simple dial with Roman numerals and blue steel hands. It was a radical design for its time, as most watches then had round cases. The Cartier Tank watch quickly became popular among high society and celebrities, including style icons such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Andy Warhol, and Princess Diana. The watch was regarded as a symbol of refinement and class.
