Omega Constellation Date 18K 'Pie-Pan Onyx Dial' 168.004/14
The Constellation is perhaps one of the most refined models in Omega's collection, offering a wide variety of designs. This model was first introduced by Omega in 1952. The history of the Constellation refers to a star constellation that moves with consistency and predictability—a fitting symbol for the reliability of the timepieces in this series.
Omega broke every precision record at the Geneva Observatory, creating a strong connection with astronomy.
This connection is also reflected in the logo of the Constellation series: a depiction of the Geneva Observatory surrounded by eight stars, representing Omega’s greatest chronometric achievements. This iconic logo is often found on the back of the case, with a single star adorning the dial.
The stunning vintage Omega Constellation 168.004/14 we have here dates back to 1962. The watch is crafted in 18K yellow gold and features a flawless golden Pie-Pan dial, which adds remarkable depth to the watch when viewed from different angles. The so-called baton hour markers are inlaid with onyx, a natural black gemstone renowned for its smooth and glossy finish. This combination makes the Omega Constellation a true eye-catcher!
What also delights us is the 18K yellow gold case, which remains razor-sharp and is in completely original, unpolished condition. Additionally, the vintage Constellation is equipped with a gold Omega buckle and a black leather strap. The watch has been serviced and comes with a 1-year warranty from 10 over 10.

Omega
La Generale Watch Company, Omega's parent company, was founded in 1848 in the Swiss city La Chaux de Fonds by 23-year-old Louis Brandt. In 1866, Brandt passed away, leaving his company in the hands of his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar. The two brothers brought many fresh, innovative ideas to the company, which led to the development of a new caliber in 1894: the famous 19-lignecaliber. This caliber was so precise, and subsequently, succesful, that the brothers decided to change their company name in 1903; the year "Omega Watch Co." was born. Since 1998, Omega is owned by the Swatch Group, under the name Omega SA.
