Rolex Sea-Dweller

Together with the Rolex Submariner, the Rolex Sea-Dweller is one of the most recognizable watches in the world. The Sea-Dweller was introduced in the year 1967 under the reference 1665. The basic design of the Sea-Dweller is very similar to the Submariner. The most striking differences are the absence of the date cyclops and a slightly thicker case. The Rolex Submariner was the world's first commercially produced diving watch that was introduced in the year 1954. This watch had a water resistance of 100 meters, which was later improved to 200 meters. Rolex's goal was to triple this rate.
